Some lung conditions such as bronchitis, bronchiectasis, cystic fibrosis and chronic cough require specialised chest physiotherapy.  QClass is very excited to have two fantastic physiotherapists on our team.  Physiotherapists, Casey Hill and Ryan Black are highly trained paediatric physiotherapists who offers private physiotherapy at the Queensland Children’s Lung and Sleep Service. In our child-friendly treatment rooms, Ryan and Casey provide hands-on chest physiotherapy, as well as training and advice for parents and carers who need to continue care at home.  They can also provide generalised physiotherapy services for children with developmental or musculo-skeletal needs.

You may need a paediatric physiotherapist if you have a child with:

  • problems with balance, posture, co-ordination and general motor skills
  • delay in achieving physical milestones such as sitting and walking and you are concerned
  • joint, muscle or nerve problems that cause pain or weakness
  • weight and fitness issues
  • chronic cough

How do I make an appointment?

Appointments can be made by calling our reception staff on (07) 3161 0377

Do I need a referral?

No referral is needed to see our physiotherapist. However, most children who require chest physiotherapy will have the service recommended after being seen by a Respiratory Paediatrician such as Dr Burgess or Dr Suresh. Ryan and Casey work very closely with Dr Burgess and Dr Suresh to provide personalised care for your child’s condition.  Your child may be eligible for a medicare rebate if referred by any Paediatrician or your GP.
