About Telehealth
QClass is proud to offer telehealth, an exciting initiative in patient accessibility and care. Telehealth connects patients with expert specialists, through live video conferencing. Telehealth gives children and their families who live outside of major cities, unprecedented access to consultations with all of our team. Most telehealth consultations are bulk-billed (our reception staff will be able to provide you with specific details).
Telehealth offers significant patient benefits, particularly in remote, regional and outer metropolitan areas. Telehealth consultation aims to provide immediate access to our respiratory and sleep specialists without the time and expense of travel to our metropolitan centre. Should they wish, the participation of the family’s usual healthcare provider (for example, a GP) during the consultation can provide appropriate, immediate access to all management options and enhanced continuity and quality of care.
