She graduated with honours in medicine from James Cook University in North Queensland and undertook specialist training in paediatric respiratory and sleep medicine at the Mater Children’s, Royal Children’s and Queensland Children’s Hospital in Brisbane, where she lives with her family.
Archana adopts a nurturing, child-focussed approach informed by the latest research and international best practice. She has published in several high-end peer reviewed respiratory/sleep journals and has presented research at international conferences. She also spent 12 months as a visiting scholar at the prestigious Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital at Stanford University, California and is currently undertaking PhD research in improving respiratory outcomes for children with neuromuscular conditions.
